Pedestrian Hit By Car In NBC Connecticut Parking Lot: Police

The man was hit while walking across the TV station's parking lot. He was alert and conscious when EMTs arrived, police said.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A man was taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after he was hit by a vehicle while walking across NBC Connecticut's parking lot, police said.

The man was hit while walking toward the TV station's building (at 1422 New Britain Ave.), West Hartford police said, and officers responded at around noon Wednesday.

When officers arrived, the man was alert and conscious, though he reported shoulder and neck pain, police said. He was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

The driver of the vehicle was cooperative and remained at the scene, police said.
