Racist Graffiti Found At High School In West Hartford: Police

The West Hartford PD is investigating and asking anyone with information to contact them.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police are investigating the discovery of racist graffiti on the grounds of a West Hartford high school late Sunday afternoon.

According to the West Hartford Police Department, officers were called to Northwest Catholic High School, 29 Wampanoag Drive, for a property damage complaint to school athletic facilities.

Police said, at about 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, officers arrived to discover damage to the track area at the school.

The damage, police said, was primarily to the track and soccer nets.

The damage included a racial slur on the ground in the dirt and a racial slur spray-painted on property, the WHPD said.

The West Hartford Police Department Detective Division is investigating the incident.
