Senior Citizen Lunches To Return In West Hartford

The lunches will be available later this month at both senior centers in West Hartford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — After a summer break, West Hartford's two senior centers will again be serving lunch twice a week, starting later this month.

Starting on Tuesday, Sept. 16, West Hartford Senior Centers will, again, be serving lunch at both of its locations.

The suggested donation per lunch is $5, and lunch will be served at the following sites:

• Elmwood Senior Center, 1106 New Britain Ave., Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 12:30 p.m.

• Bishops Corner Senior Center, 15 Starkel Road, Wednesday, from noon to 12:30 p.m.

As a special bonus, for National Senior Centers Month, West Hartford is offering one free lunch ticket during September to senior center members.

Seating is limited and reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
