Survey Seeks Input On Fall Hazards In West Hartford
The town is looking to garner public input on any falling hazards in public areas in West Hartford as it looks to minimize them.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The town's emergency management department is asking for resident input on how to improve West Hartford's public spaces against falls.
Over the past year, the West Hartford Office of Emergency Management, West Hartford Social Services, and the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District have been reviewing West Hartford Fire Department reports and 911 emergency calls for fall-related injuries or lift-assist requests.

Now they want to hear from residents through an anonymous survey.
The Community Fall Assessment Survey aims to gather information that will help the town understand the causes of falls and assess residents' willingness to receive assistance with unmet needs.

Information collected will be used to create a Fall Reduction and Prevention Plan, as well as educational workshops.
Printed copies of the survey are available at all three libraries and the two senior centers.
