WEST HARTFORD--The town of West Hartford approved a budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
On Monday, the town council approved a $267.9 million budget for the 2016-2017 fiscal year, according to The Hartford Courant.
The new budget means a tax hike for residents, with property taxes rising 1.67 percent, The Hartford Courant reports. There is an overall spending increase of $9.9 million for the upcoming fiscal year.
