Leaf Pickup's Final Day Moved To Monday In West Hartford

The town was forced to suspend the last day of roadside leaf pickup on Friday.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — If you still have leaves by the roadside despite Friday being the last day for the Town of West Hartford's roadside leaf collection, don't fret.

The town announced that Friday's planned leaf collection was suspended due to the strong wind and rainstorm that day and "circumstances beyond our control."

The good news, however, is that whatever was planned for Friday is now planned for Monday, Dec. 22.

So, any areas of town not serviced on Friday will be taken care of on Monday, which is good because weather forecasters are calling for snow on Tuesday.
