West Hartford: If You See A Broken Streetlight, Tell Someone
With darkness coming earlier, West Hartford's Vision Zero safety initiative is asking folks to notify the town if a streetlight is out.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — With the town's ongoing Vision Zero pedestrian/motorists safety blitz ongoing locally, there's one more thing the town would like you to do.
Simply put, if you see a street light in West Hartford that is not working, report it.
With daylight saving time ending earlier this month, nightfall comes earlier, creating more opportunities for pedestrians to be hit in the darkness, especially if street lights are broken.

As part of West Hartford's Vision Zero Action Planto keep streets well-lit, the town is reminding folks that if they see any streetlights that are out, they should report them using the Report A Problem form on the Department of Public Works’ website.
