West Hartford Law School Professor for Retirement Commission Chairman
Peter L. Adomeit, attorney, arbitrator and law professor, is being considered to replace 26-year chairman Peter Blum, who resigned in Dec.

Gov. Dannel P. Mallow is considering Peter L. Adomeit of West Hartford for chairman of the Connecticut State Employees Retirement Commission, according to the Hartford Courant. Adomeit would replace Peter Blum, chairman for 26-year, who resigned back in December and then rescinded it after controversy.
The Retirement Commission is a 15-person team that oversees the benefits paid to tens of thousands of ex-state employees, the Courant reported.
Adomeit, who was a faculty member at the Western new England University School of Law since 1978, was recommended to Molloy on May 4 in a letter signed by commission members who represented both labor and management departments of the state.
