West Hartford Program Urges People To 'Rethink Your Drink'

The town's health department is hosting a special forum at a local library about the high amount of sugar in everyday beverages.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — If one knew the amount of sugar in, say, a can of Coca-Cola, a bottle of juice, or even that delicious coffee drink, they might be surprised.

In fact, according to experts, they might be shocked ... and, perhaps, mortified.

Guests are invited to join the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District and the Community Health Network of Connecticut for a "fun and interactive workshop that exposes the amount of sugar hidden in many popular drinks."
