West Hartford Restaurant Fined For Liquor Violations: State

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A local restaurant has paid a fine and it has had its liquor permit suspended by the state for multiple violations.

According to the state Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Division, the Shish Kebab House of Afghanistan, located at 36 LaSalle Road, West Hartford, was cited by state officials.

The DCP said the Shish Kebab House has already paid a $3,000 fine and its permit will be suspended on Monday, Aug. 12, where it will not be allowed to sell alcoholic drinks that day.

According to an announcement from the state, the violations were: Restaurant permitting violations; violations of conduct by the permittee; and violations of authorization to sell liquor for off-site consumption.
