West Hartford School's Thanksgiving 'Turkey Trot' To Promote Fitness, Fun

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The Webster Hill Elementary School PTO will host its fifth annual "Turkey Trot 5K," set for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 27, beginning at 8 a.m. at Webster Hill Elementary School, 125 Webster Hill Blvd.

This beloved community event brings together people of all ages to promote fitness, celebrate community spirit, and enjoy a memorable morning of running, fundraising, and family-friendly activities.

"Whether you run, jog, walk, or push a stroller, everyone is welcome. While it is not a timed event, we are excited to announce that all kids will receive a medal," wrote event organizers.

In fact, even costumes are encouraged and welcomed.

The 3.11-mile course winds through the beautiful Webster Hill neighborhood.

All rules of the road must be observed.

"We reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, natural disasters, or emergencies, or as required to protect the safety of participants and staff. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. Entry fees are non-refundable," wrote organizers.
