These fabulous felines are looking for a permanent home.

A West Hartford Patch user is fostering a mother cat - 'Avery' - and her 4 kittens who were rescued in Hartford.

Here is what she has to say about them (the photo is of the kittens):

Avery is a young and VERY friendly, good-natured kitty. She's done an outstanding job with raising her kittens, and she will soon be ready for a home of her own. I think she'd be good with a family, and other nice cats are probably okay. She will be spayed etc. prior to adoption.
The kittens were born on/around Aug. 1, so they will be available for adoption as of the end of September. They are all friendly, playful, and well-behaved, and they are eating wet/dry kitten food and using the litter box.

Magnus: fluffy white male, largest of the litter. Very outgoing.
Mulooly: gray & white 'mini-me' copy of his mother. Shy but sweet.
Maura: b&w female with a stripe on her nose. Gentle and sweet.
Meg: runt of the litter, but not shy at all! B&W, not 100 percent certain if it's a male or female.
