The Mandell JCC held its 2nd Annual Doggie Dash/Duathlon at The Swim &amp; Tennis Club in Bloomfield on Sunday, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit the Fidelco Guide Foundation and the Connecticut Humane Society.The event comprised a 1.5-mile walk/run with dogs and their owners, an option for dogs to swim the width of the pool, a dogs only open swim, a doggie talent show, a best-dressed dog contest and an owner/dog look-alike contest.There was also a free expo featuring representatives from various nonprofit and for-profit pet vendors. A barking good time was had by all. Check out the photos to see some of the pooches.
