Big Lottery Prize Sold In West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — A winning scratch ticket worth $25,000 was recently sold in West Haven, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

A Sandy Hook resident won $25,000 on a $2,000,000 Jackpot scratch ticket that was sold at Liquor King at 111 Elm St. in West Haven, according to lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
