Man Found Dead In West Haven Identified: Police

WEST HAVEN, CT — The man who was found dead on the side of Spring Street has been identified as 41-year-old Hector Polanco-Latorre of West Haven, police said in an update Monday.

No further information was available on Monday afternoon, according to police.

The man’s body was found around 2 p.m. on Oct. 5 along the side of Spring Street in the bushes near the New Haven line, according to Sgt. Scott Allard.

Allard said on Sunday that it was unknown what happened to the man, or how long he had been there.

“We are in the early stages of this investigation, and this is all the information available currently,” Allard said in an email on Sunday. “Additional details will be released as they become available.”
