The Register reports the property, which had been the headquarters of the <a href="https://connecticuthistory.org/armstrong-finds-a-niche-in-the-tire-market/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Armstrong Rubber Co.</a> before it moved to Sargent Drive in New Haven, was sold by a Stop &amp; Shop LLC to Bronx-based Bajraktari Realty. Stop &amp; Shop has a supermarket across the street from the property and a condition of the sale stipulates that the new owners are forbidden from selling food, according to the Register. Officials said Bajraktari Realty intends to develop apartments at the site, the Register reported.
