Historic Armstrong Building Sold In West Haven: Report
The former headquarters of the Armstrong Rubber Co. in West Haven has been sold to a developer.

WEST HAVEN, CT — The historic Armstrong Building on Elm Street in West Haven has been sold to a developer for $975,000, according to the New Haven Register.
The Register reports the property, which had been the headquarters of the Armstrong Rubber Co. before it moved to Sargent Drive in New Haven, was sold by a Stop & Shop LLC to Bronx-based Bajraktari Realty. Stop & Shop has a supermarket across the street from the property and a condition of the sale stipulates that the new owners are forbidden from selling food, according to the Register.
Officials said Bajraktari Realty intends to develop apartments at the site, the Register reported.
