New Detail In Man Found Dead In West Haven, Information Sought: Police
Police are asking for help with information in the investigation of a man found dead in West Haven.
WEST HAVEN, CT — The man who was found dead in West Haven earlier this month is expected to have died about a week before his body was found, police said in an update Thursday.
The man’s body was found around 2 p.m. on Oct. 5 along the side of Spring Street in the bushes near the New Haven line, according to police.
The man was later identified as 41-year-old Hector Polanco-Latorre of West Haven, police said.

In an update Thursday, police said after investigation, his time of death is estimated to be Friday, Sept. 26 at 8 p.m.
Police are asking for information in connection with the incident.
