Man Hospitalized After Shooting In West Haven: Police
Police are investigating a shooting in West Haven.
WEST HAVEN, CT — A man was hospitalized after being shot Monday night in West Haven, according to police.
Police received several 911 calls around 10:50 p.m. reporting a person shot on Emma Street, according to Sgt. Scott Allard.
Allard said arriving officers found a man on Emma Street who had been struck by gunfire. Officers at the scene gave medical attention before the West Haven Fire Department arrived, according to Allard.

The victim was taken to an area hospital, according to Allard.
West Haven detectives arrived at the scene and took over the investigation, Allard said.
