Man Shot In Leg And Arm, Walks To Business For Help: West Haven Police

Police responded to the business and the man was found lying on the floor, police said.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A gunshot victim walked to a local gas station and was taken to the hospital, police said.

At 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, police and fire crews responded to 62 Elm Street, the Citgo gas station, on the report of a person shot, police said.

"Upon arrival, Officers located a male lying on the floor saying he was shot in his leg and arm," police said in a statement. "West Haven Fire & Rescue treated the victim's injuries prior to him being transported to an area hospital. This male is in stable condition and injuries appear to be non-life threatening. It is believed that this male was shot on Elm Street between First Ave and Second Ave and walked to the gas station seeking help."
