New Urgent Care, Walk In Clinic Approved In West Haven

WEST HAVEN, CT — The Planning and Zoning Commission voted in October to approve an urgent care walk in clinic at 354 Sawmill Road.

American Family Care sought a special permit to create a franchisee-owned facility in West Haven, according to meeting minutes.

The owner, West Haven LIR, LLC/Applicant Muhammad Zaman to members of the commission that the building and parking will have no changes.

"There will be seven exam rooms, manager’s office, x-ray and storage space....There will be an MD, PA or Nurse Practitioner who will be certified as well as a Medical Assistant," according to meeting minutes.

The commission approved the proposal.
