WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Arleen Grace Cantore, age 73, of West Haven went home to be with the angels on December 13, 2021, at Milford Hospital. A daughter of the late Valentino Cantore and Grace DeLeone Dippold, Arleen was born in New Haven. She is survived by her three siblings, Valerie Cantore of West Haven, Richard Cantore of East Haven, Stephen Cantore and her beloved sister-in-law, Mary (West) Cantore of Mechanicsburg, PA; nieces and nephews Jacqueline (Joseph) Greengas, Craig Lucas, Anne Sorge, Jesse (Hannah) Cantore, Tara and Paul Cantore, her great nieces and nephews Joshua, Gabriel, Gracie, Wesley and Emory. She retired from Miles Laboratory after 35 years of employment in the cafeteria, never missing a day. She was truly one of God's chosen and if she knew you, you were her friend. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9-10:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A funeral service will commence at 10:30 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, www.rmhc.org.
