Obituary: Brian Dorsi, 36, of West Haven

Brian, lovingly remembered for his quick wit, special smile and great hugs, was a devoted father, son, brother and uncle.

WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Brian Dorsi, 36, of West Haven was called home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2022.

His heartbroken family includes his parents Lawrence A. and Lorrayne Powers Dorsi, Sr.; his son Anthony Dorsi, sister Cortney Dorsi, his twin Marc Dorsi, brother Lawrence A. “Pete” and wife Sherri Dorsi; sisters Debra Simmons, Renee Young & Melissa Jordan, Amber Nuzzo, the mother of his child, and his brother-in-law Tim McLaughlin.

He was the proud uncle of Sunnie and Finn McLaughlin and Adriana and Samantha Dorsi, godfather of Nadia Nuzzo and friend to anyone he encountered. Brian will best be remembered for his quick wit, special smile and his great hugs.

A 2004 graduate of West Haven High School, Brian was an avid Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan.

The hours for visitation will take place on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the green. On Friday morning, the procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Church, 300 Captain Thomas Blvd. West Haven at 10 o’clock. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MCCA 100 Elizabeth St., Derby, CT. 06418.
