Obituary: Charlotte Lois Admans, 87, of West Haven

Charlotte was the true definition of a lifelong West Haven resident and was employed at West Haven Buckle Co. for 23 years.

WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Charlotte Lois Admans, age 87, passed away on September 27, 2021 with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Frederic C. Admans.

Charlotte’s children and grandchildren survive her including her daughters Beth (Charles) Georgie and Amy Jean Wrinn; grandchildren Tonielise (Phil) Tepfer, James Admans, Kayleigh Georgie, Brenna Wrinn and two great granddaughters Elayna Reiss Tepfer and Pippa Sandra Tepfer.

In addition to her parents, Otto and Lillie Roy Reiss, Charlotte is predeceased by her son Frederic Admans.

She is the last remaining of her 11 siblings- Ruth Neps, Edna DuBail, Elsie Barringham, Lillian Bode, Frederick Reiss, Helen Selby, Dorothy McDermott, Otto Reiss, Marjorie Admans, Robert Reiss and Edith Villano.

Born on October 25, 1933 at her home on 258 Front Avenue in West Haven, Charlotte was the true definition of a lifelong resident. Employed at West Haven Buckle Co. for 23 years, she proudly managed the packing department.

She embodied the character of a strong Christian woman of faith. She taught Sunday school and loved to nurture and care for all children.

Favorite past times include cooking, baking, trips to the casino and spending time with her loving family.
On Saturday October 30, a memorial service will be held for Charlotte at 10 o’clock at the West Haven Funeral Home at the green.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. MASKS MUST BE WORN THROUGHOUT THE SERVICES. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
