Obituary: Chrysanthia Croteau, 92, of West Haven

Chrysanthia worked as a production inventory planner at Armstrong Rubber prior to retirement.

WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Chrysanthia Croteau, age 92, of West Haven passed away peacefully on September 13, 2021.

She was the loving wife of the late Joseph L. Croteau. Chrysanthia was born in New Hampshire, daughter of the late Nicholas and Gertrude Grant Skarlos.

She is survived by her children, Barbara Lubenau of East Haven and Lenny (Dawn) Croteau of NC, her grandchildren, Brian Lubenau, Jeffrey (Liz McKiernan) Lubenau, Tracey (Russell Vauiso) Lubenau, Nicholas Croteau, Cassandra (Mauricio) Restrepo, Brittany (Daniel Torres) Croteau and Steven Croteau Jr., her great grandchildren, Kayla (Michael Tuccinardi) Lubeau, Brian and Kara Lubeau, Joseph Pinski, Payton Lubeau, Jake Vauiso, Tristian Croteau, Lucas and Campbell Restropo, Logan and Addison Torres, her great great granddaughter Ava, her brother John (Rosemary) Skarlos of West Haven and her nephew Nicholas Skarlos.

Chrysanthia was predeceased by her sons Steven and Michael Croteau, her son-in-law Lawrence Lubenau and her brother George Skarlos.

Prior to her retirement, she enjoyed her career as a production inventory planner at Armstrong Rubber.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-6pm, with a funeral service to follow at 6pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.

Interment will be private.
