Obituary: Joan B. Chiarito, 100, of West Haven
Joan was an avid dance enthusiast and was always truly devoted to her family.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Joan B. Chiarito, age 100, of West Haven passed away on October 3, 2021. She was the wife of the late Jerry Chiarito.
Joan was born in New Wilmington, PA daughter of the late Carl and Gladys Anderson.
She is survived by her children, John Sr. Danz, Paul Danz, Michael Danz and Ann Butler, daughter in laws Dee, Theresa and Dolores Danz, son in law Robert Butler and her grandchildren, Sharon, Rick, Matt, Geoffrey Jr, Nicole, Marcie, Robin, Dawn, Michael Jr, Erica, Joan, John Jr, Heather, Brian, Joseph and 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Joan was predeceased by her sons Alan, Fredrick, and Geoffrey Danz and her brothers Forrest, Carl and Everett Anderson and her granddaughter Kelly Danz.
Joan loved to dance. If you followed the sound of the music, you would see her dancing on the boardwalk at the West Haven beach.
A Graveside Service will be held on October 13th at 11:00am in Oak Grove Cemetery. West Haven Funeral Home at the Green is entrusted with arrangements.
