Obituary: Kathleen Horan Hunter, 99, of West Haven
Kathleen, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, worked many years as a bookkeeper for F.J. Torello.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Kathleen Horan Hunter, age 99, of West Haven passed away on October 26, 2021 at Masonicare.
She was the loving wife of the late Francis J. Hunter.
Kathleen was born in Tullamore, Ireland, daughter of the late Mark and Margaret Leonard Horan.
She is survived by her son James F. Hunter and his wife Sharon of PA, her grandchildren Matthew Hunter, Eileen Federchuck and her husband Michael, and her great-grandchildren Jacob Smart and Delilah Andrews
Kathleen was also predeceased by her son William P. Hunter, grand-daughter Kathleen Hunter and her siblings, Joseph Horan, Rose Connolly, John Horan, Mary Boyle, Julia Broccoli and Bernice Hunter.
Prior to her retirement, Kathleen was a bookkeeper for F.J. Torello.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 9-10:30am at the West Haven Funeral Home. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Lawrence Church.
Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
