Obituary: Marilyn J. Lawrence, 55, of West Haven
Marilyn, a devoted wife and mother, was a dedicated employee at the Subway Headquarters in Milford for many years.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Marilyn J. Lawrence, age 55, of West Haven passed away suddenly at home on March 13, 2022. For 35 years, she was the loving wife of Thomas Lawrence Sr.
Marilyn was born in New Haven, daughter of Marilyn Downes McDaniel of West Haven and the late Leroy “Butch” McDaniel.
She is also survived by her cherished children, Thomas Jr., Troy, Candace, Joseph Leroy and Patrick Lawrence all of West Haven, her siblings, Leroy “Butch” McDaniel of West Haven, Cheryl (Edward) Jennings of North Haven, Maureen (Michael) Celone of Madison, Kevin (Mary) McDaniel of West Haven, Melanie (Daniel) Lambert of Middletown, Dawn McDaniel of Madison, Eric McDaniel of West Haven and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marilyn was employed at the Subway Headquarters in Milford. She adored her children and her family. She loved watching her kids compete in sports. She enjoyed her light and sweet Dunkin coffee and smoking cigarettes.
The hours for visitation will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green.
Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Saturday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Victory Church at 10am.
Interment will be private.
