Obituary: Martin “Marty” Haskell, 72, of West Haven
Marty, a proud U.S. Army veteran and avid sports fan, worked many years for Dechello Distributors.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Martin “Marty” Haskell, age 72, of West Haven passed away on March 31, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born in New Haven, son of the late Donald and Margaret Quinn Haskell.
He was also predeceased by his brothers, Ronald E. Haskell and Timothy R. Haskell.
He is survived by many cousins. Marty was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, who served in Vietnam. In his youth, he and his brother raced stock cars. He was an avid sports fan, who loved baseball and UCONN basketball.
Prior to his retirement, Marty worked for Dechello Distributors.
A graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Monday, April 11th at 11am in Oak Grove Cemetery. West Haven Funeral Home at the Green has been entrusted with arrangements.
