Obituary: Nancy O’Connell Bailey, 68, of West Haven
Nancy worked for 25 years as an office manager for Dr. Peter Russo. She loved the beach, long walks and cherished time spent with family.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From West Haven Funeral Home) Nancy O’Connell Bailey, 68, of West Haven entered into rest on February 26, 2021 with her family by her side.
For the past 46 years, she was the wife of Robert Bailey, the love of her life. In addition to Bob, Nancy leaves her children Carrie (Liam) McGowan and Sean (Ashley) Bailey; five adored grandchildren and her siblings, Patricia Nadler, Gene, Daniel and Michael O’Connell.
She was predeceased by her parents Eugene and Lillian Dorsey O’Connell.

In 2019, Nancy retired after 25 years as the office manager for Dr. Peter Russo. She often spent free time at the beach with her friends soaking up the sun, and loved taking long walks along the West Haven shore with Bob.
Friends may visit on Saturday March 6 from 10 to 1 pm at the West Haven Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Make a Wish, CT. or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
