Obituary: Nello A. "Tony" DiGioia, 81, of West Haven
Nello, a devoted family man and friend to many, was a laborer for the Local 455 prior to retirement.
WEST HAVEN, CT - (From Porto Funeral Home) Nello A. "Tony" DiGioia 81, of West Haven passed away on April 4, 2022 in Yale New Haven Hospital St. Raphael Campus.
Beloved father of Earl DiGioia of West Haven.
Brother of Lina (Vincent) Masucci of Orange and the late Filomena Cusano and Giuseppe DiGioia.
Companion of Francesca Truffa of East Haven. Nello was born in Amorosi Province of Benevento, Italy on May 5, 1940 son of the late Enrico and Pasqualina Fusco DiGioia.
Prior to his retirement Nello was a laborer for Local 455.
Family and friends are invited to a parlor service in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 830 Jones Hill Rd. West Haven MONDAY morning at 11:00.
Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call MONDAY morning from 9:00 until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org.
