Popular Restaurant Reopens After Fire In West Haven

The restaurant had been closed for more than a year due to a kitchen fire.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A popular all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant has reopened in West Haven after being closed for more than a year due to a kitchen fire, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reported Sushi X reopened earlier this week in its spot at 220 Captain Thomas Blvd.

The ownership attributed the long delay to some miscommunications and disagreements with the company that helped clean out the kitchen after the fire, resulting in some difficulty in getting reimbursed for lost materials, according to the Register.
