Dolores DeRosa English, 93, passed away on Mar. 13, 2025. A retiree from Olin who cared for her mother, volunteered extensively at WHEAT, and enjoyed hosting Christmas Eve feasts, playing setback and pinochle, and watching Yankees baseball.

Donald “Fitzy” FitzGerald, 87, died Mar. 16, 2025. A lifelong athlete and Army veteran, he turned his passion for sports into a 50-year career in sporting goods sales after excelling as a soccer goalie, standout baseball pitcher and hitter, Twilight League player, and later served on various athletic boards, earning multiple honors including the Gold Bat Award and induction into the West Haven Hall of Fame.

Edward John Palmer, 82, passed away on Mar. 20, 2025. A Vietnam War veteran who served three years in the US Army, a dedicated parishioner, an avid crossword and solitaire player, a passionate gardener who shared his crops, a skilled handyman, a devoted sports fan of the NY Yankees and Rangers, and a man known for his “dad jokes” and quiet humor.
