WFSB reports the incident happened around 8 p.m. near Washington Avenue and Park Avenue. The driver <a href="https://www.wfsb.com/2025/03/10/teenage-boy-struck-by-car-west-haven/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">remained at the scene</a> and told police that he didn't see the teen and accidentally bumped him with the vehicle, according to WFSB 3. The teen reported pain in his arm, and the injuries were described as minor. WTNH News 8 reported that the 16-year-old was <a href="https://www.wtnh.com/news/connecticut/new-haven/teenage-boy-struck-by-car-in-west-haven/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">taken to the hospital</a> by his parents for an evaluation. No charges were filed in connection with the incident.
