West Haven Fisher House Shed Spruced Up

Comcast recently hosted one of its first “Team UP” volunteer events in Connecticut when members of the company’s local Veterans Network painted, built storage solutions and spread stone for Fisher House’s storage shed in West Haven. “Team UP” is Comcast’s ongoing, 365-day-a-year effort that provides opportunities for employees to increase their involvement in local communities.

Fisher House is a comfort home where military family members can stay for free when their loved one is at the VA hospital. The organization relies on community donations and volunteers for some of their needs, like the storage shed project.
