NEW HAVEN, CT — A West Haven man was shot in the Beaver Hills section of New Haven Sunday afternoon, police said. It was around 2 p.m. when the New Haven Police Department posted on "X," formerly Twitter, that officers were on the scene of a shooting in the area of Munson and Crescent streets. Police noted that the man, 48, suffered gunshot injures that "did not appear to be life-threatening." Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 203-946-6304 or via the anonymous tip line at 866-888-TIPS (8477).
