Woman Sexually Assaulted Minor, Sent Video To Man: West Haven Police

A woman is accused of sexually assaulting a minor and sending video of the encounter to her "associate," according to police.

WEST HAVEN, CT — A West Haven woman is accused of sexually assaulting a minor and sending video of the encounter to a Milford man, according to police.

Elizabeth Jordan, 42, was arrested Thursday on a warrant following a lengthy investigation.

The West Haven Police Detectives Division’s Special Victim’s Unit began investigating in April after receiving information from the Department of Children and Families regarding accusations of a sexual abuse case involving Jordan, according to police.

“It was alleged that Jordan engaged in sexual intercourse with an underaged individual and recorded the sexual encounter,” police wrote in a news release. “It was also alleged that Jordan then disseminated this video to her associate, Josh Bailey, 44, of Milford.

“Jordan is also alleged to have sent images of another underaged individual to Bailey for his sexual gratification.”

Jordan and Bailey were both arrested following an “extensive and thorough investigation” by the West Haven Police Special Victim’s Unit, according to police.

Police said Jordan turned herself in at the West Haven Police Department on Thursday on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Jordan was charged with second-degree sexual assault, conspiracy to commit second-degree sexual assault, two counts of voyeurism, two counts of disseminating voyeuristic material, and one count each of risk of injury to a minor and unlawful dissemination of an intimate image.

Police said Bailey didn’t turn himself in, but was taken into custody in Milford on an unrelated incident.

Bailey was arrested and charged with criminal liability to commit second-degree sexual assault, conspiracy to commit second-degree sexual assault, two counts of criminal liability to commit voyeurism, two counts of conspiracy to commit voyeurism, and one count each of criminal liability to commit risk of injury to a minor and conspiracy to commit risk of injury to a minor.
