1 Killed In Fiery Crash In Easton: Police
The road will be closed for several more hours, police said.

EASTON, CT — The Easton Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Saturday night, said Police Chief Richard Doyle in a news release.
At 7:39 p.m. police received several 911 calls reporting a serious two car motor vehicle accident on Rt. 58 south of Center Road.
Police found one vehicle on fire and the other with serious damage. The Easton Fire Department extinguished the vehicle. Easton EMS transported one person to the hospital. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Fairfield Police Crash Investigation Unit is investigating. Monroe EMS, and the Wilton Police Department assisted in the investigation. Rt. 58 will be closed for several more hours.
The investigation is ongoing.
