1 New Entry In Latest Connecticut High School Girls Soccer Poll

CONNECTICUT — With state tournament competition lurking less than two weeks away, girls soccer teams in Connecticut are making their final pushes toward improving their ranking in the waning days of the regular season. The latest poll of coaches reflects a considerable amount of shuffling, with one new entry cracking the top 10 in Classes LL/L.

St. Joseph assumed the top spot in LL/L, garnering four of seven first-place votes to switch places with previous No. 1 Glastonbury. In Classes M/S, Weston was the unanimous top pick of all six coaches to maintain its frontrunning position.

Here are the top 10 in each division, with first-places and last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other schools collecting votes.
