2025 Weston, Redding & Easton Fall Fun Guide: Artisan Fair, Concerts & More

REDDING, CT — The autumnal equinox on Monday, Sept. 22, signals the official arrival of fall, but the season is already in full swing in the area with events such as vendor fairs, concerts, and "haunted houses."

Sunny days and crisp evenings are perfect for outdoor fun. One can't-miss event is Redding's 43rd Annual Artisan Fair, which rolls into the First Church of Christ on Sept. 27.

But that’s just the beginning of fun activities taking place over the next couple of months.

• On the scarier side, the creaky doors to the Lily Rose Haunted House in Danbury will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Oct. 3 to Halloween
• Also in Danbury, The Forest of Fear opens for three weekends on Oct. 10
• A "thrilling and deeply disturbing" take on the classic tale "Frankenstein" is offered up at the Ridgefield Playhouse on Halloween. The stage show starring Benedict Cumberbatch was filmed live in 2011.
