Ashurst Irish Dancers Kick Off St. Patrick's Day in Redding

The Ashurst Academy of Irish Dance kicked off the holiday with a performance at Mark Twain Library in Redding, CT.

From Ash Irish Dance: From The Ashurst Academy of Irish Dance recently kicked off a busy St. Patrick's Day season with a performance at Mark Twain Library in Redding, CT. Leading the troupe of young dancers were academy owners and instructors, Craig and Christina Ashurst, who formerly toured the world as leads in Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.

The couple recently married and settled in Connecticut before opening the academy in June 2016. The school has already seen exceptional results from the New England Regional Championships, performed with PBS stars the Celts and the Celtic Tenors, and is now prepared to perform at over 30 businesses and establishments all over the state of Connecticut for St. Patrick's Day events and parades.

The academy offers Irish dancing lessons in Newtown, Danbury and Southbury, CT and is currently enrolling beginner classes for June as well as summer camps. Information can be found at http://www.ashurstirishdance.com or by calling (203) 928-0689.
