Barlow Announces Revised School Schedule
Redding and Easton's high school headmaster sent out a news alert yesterday regarding some tweaks in the school's schedule.

Joel Barlow High School will not reopen until Monday, Nov. 7 . Yesterday, Tom McMorran, the school's principal, sent out a revised schedule for next week.
McMorran's email is as follows:

Nov. 10: Day 4, Exams 3 & 8
Nov. 11: Day 5, Exams 2 & 4
3. Beginning of Second Marking Period: Nov. 14 (formerly Nov. 7)
Teachers' Grades will be imported to PowerSchool from the digital gradebooks at 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 15.
These alterations will have an impact on when the second marking period and the semester ends, which will in turn affect the mid-year exams, but we will not set those dates at this time. The revised dates for the end of the first semester will be announced in advance.
McMorran sent out a second email with other changes. The text is as follows:
Nov. 9 had been scheduled as a delayed start for students. The teachers had been scheduled to receive professional development time in the morning of Nov. 9.
Due to the snow storm's ongoing impact on our schedule, we have changed Nov. 9 back to a regular school day. The day will start at the normal time, and the busses will run on their regular schedule. It will remain a "Day 3" in our cycle.
The professional development time will be rescheduled in the spring. We haven't set a date yet because we want to see how Old Man Winter affects us.
