Barlow's State Championship Game Postponed
The Falcons will have to wait a few more days to compete for the school's first state championship.

NEW BRITAIN, CT — The Joel Barlow Falcons football team will have to wait two more days to play for the school's first State Championship. A snowy forecast Saturday has postponed the state championship game until Monday at 6:30 p.m., according to the CIAC.
The game will still be played at Veterans Stadium in New Britain.
The 9-3 Falcons will take on 12-0 Killingly, the top seed in the Class M bracket. Since getting off to a 3-3 start, the Falcons have not lost and have put in dominant performances in their first two playoff games, defeating SMSA/University/Classical by a count of 53-14.

However, one of the state's best offenses and running backs stands in the way of the Falcons' bid for a state championship. Killingly's Spencer Lockwood has rushed for over 3,000 yards and 42 touchdowns in his career and has the Redmen on the doorstep of the school's first state championship since 1996.
Patch will be posting a live score update Monday, so stay tuned.
