Case Now Closed After Man Asked Teen For A Ride: Easton Police
Police shared new details regarding the incident and say the case is now closed.

EASTON, CT — On Sunday, Aug. 25, police asked for the public's help in identifying a blue GMC Terrain and its driver that approached a juvenile male on Easton Heights Lane on Sunday morning, police said.
The driver pulled up along the juvenile and asked if he wanted a ride, to which the juvenile replied “no,” police said. Another vehicle interrupted the interaction when it pulled out of a driveway, police added.
Police said that they have identified the vehicle and driver. "The elderly male was interviewed and it was determined through family and medical records that he suffers from Dementia," police said Thursday. "There is no danger to the public and the case is being closed."
