Weston, Redding, Easton CMT Results Are Solid
Results for the Connecticut Mastery Test were released last week.
The results of the Connecticut Mastery Test were released last week, and as has been the trend for recent years, students in Weston, and Easton did head-and-shoulders better than the majority of their peers across the state.
The most noteable changes for the three school districts include a 10.8 percent increase in fourth grade Redding students meeting the state goal in reading, a 17 percent decrease in seventh grade Easton students meeting the state goal in writing, and a 7.7 percent increase in fourth grade Weston students meeting the state goal in writing.
Patch compared the results of the eighth grade tests across the district reference group which follows below. Overall, Redding performed very strongly against the district, while Weston lagged towards the bottom. It is important to note though, however, that though Weston anchored the district reference group, often times it was only by a few percentage points. The district still performed very strongly against the state.

For math, Easton and Weston anchored the district reference group, while Redding led it.
