Crashes Keep Weston Police, Fire & EMS Crews Busy
Emergency crews in Weston had a busy day Wednesday.
WESTON, CT — Emergency crews in Weston had a busy day Wednesday.

Firefighters from the Weston Volunteer Fire Department and police officers were first called to a single-vehicle crash on Powder Horn Hill at 11:53 a.m. There they found a truck had struck a utility pole, bringing down the wires. No injuries were reported.

Later, shortly after 3 p.m., town fire, police and emergency medical service personnel responded to the area of 77 Norfield Road following a report that a car had crashed off the roadway.

First responders found the vehicle approximately 30 feet off the road. One driver was treated and transported by Weston EMS.
