Cyclist Injured In Easton: Report

First responders rescued a man from Trout Brook Valley Sunday.

EASTON, CT — A man with a broken leg was rescued by first responders in Easton Sunday afternoon, reports the Easton Courier. The man was riding his bike on a trail in the Trout Brook Valley nature preserve when he was injured.

The man was at an unknown location two miles from his starting point, and called police for help using his cell phone.

First responders carried the man in a basket for 100 feet until ATVs could meet the man.
