D’Addario Leads Democrat Slate Of Candidates In 2025 Municipal Election
Easton Democrats unanimously back Nick D'Addario for First Selectman and Adrienne Burke for Selectman in the 2025 municipal elections.
EASTON, CT — The Easton Democratic Town Committee unanimously endorsed its slate of candidates for the 2025 municipal elections during a special meeting held July 21, the party announced.
Leading the ticket is Selectman Nick D’Addario, who seeks election as First Selectman, alongside Adrienne Burke, a local business owner and Library Board treasurer, running for Selectman.
Nanette DeWester, chair of the Easton Democratic Town Committee, highlighted the candidates’ commitment to transparency, effective governance, and community values.

"Easton Democrats have a strong record," DeWester said. "Under Democratic leadership, Easton has successfully resolved long-standing challenges, protected open spaces and farms, and ensured our continued support for seniors and excellent schools."
DeWester also pointed to productive relationships with state leaders in Hartford that have helped secure funding for local projects such as EMS building renovations.

First Selectman Dave Bindelglass, serving his third term, praised the endorsed candidates, calling D’Addario and Burke "a team dedicated to preserving what makes Easton special" with a focus on fiscal responsibility and bipartisanship.
D’Addario emphasized continuing efforts to hold the line on taxes without cutting essential services, preserving natural resources, and securing state funding amid economic uncertainties.
Burke said her experience running a successful business in Easton equips her to balance budgets and collaborate with town boards, aiming to extend a spirit of inclusivity and optimism to the Board of Selectmen.
In 2023, Easton Democrats achieved decisive victories in major town races, with strong voter turnout.

- Easton Board of Education: Jill Madeo, Jessica Zannetti (incumbent)
- Planning & Zoning Commission: John Foley (incumbent)
- Region 9 Board of Education: Carolyn Oppenheim, Leny Wallen-Friedman
- Zoning Board of Appeals: Stephanie Christie (incumbent)
- Board of Assessment Appeals: Wiley Mullins
- Library Board of Trustees: Lise Fleuette, Kristine Oulman
- Constables: Tracy Carlucci, David Katz (incumbent), Raymond Martin III (incumbent), Irv Silverman (incumbent)
D’Addario, a graduate of George Washington University and Vermont Law School, is president of Hi-Ho Energy Services, a family-owned heating and HVAC business. He lives in Easton with his wife and son and has served on various local boards.
Burke, a 15-year Easton resident, owns Greiser’s Coffee & Market, employing more than 20 local residents. She has a background in journalism and currently serves as Library Board treasurer.
