Domestic Violence Vigil Set For Easton

Sixteen 16 residents were lost to domestic violence in 2016.

EASTON, CT — A vigil honoring victims of domestic violence will be held in Easton Wednesday. The event will take place at 6 p.m. at the Easton Community Center, with the goal of raising awareness and honoring those impacted.

The Easton Courier reports the Center for Family Justice, community leaders and law enforcement will host the event. Sixteen people lost their lives due to domestic violence in 2016, and their names will be read at the vigil.

The Center for Family Justice is a non-profit organization; which serves Bridgeport, Fairfield, Easton, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull.
