Yesterday we had an epic amount of rain in a single day. Amounts measured as high as 11 inches. We have damage to multiple roads. Currently, the following roads are closed: North Park Avenue past Maple Road, Rock House Road and Pinetree Road, Wells Hill Bridge. Deerfield Road is one lane. Please do not go around the barricades, they are there for your safety. Our crews are out in force assessing road damage but it is too early to make predictions about repairs. They have done a phenomenal job as always in protecting the public and clearing damage. Yesterday, the fire department responded to 22 calls to assist residents.
