Easton Historical Society To Open Adams Schoolhouse
The following is a press release sent by Lisa Burghardt on behalf of the Easton Historical Society.

The Easton Historical Society's Holiday Open House will be held Sunday, Dec. 4, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the located at 345 Westport Road in Easton.
Come see the schoolhouse decorated for the holidays and experience what it was like to attend school in days of the past. An exhibit of early 20th century vintage holiday cards will be on display in the schoolhouse from the society’s collection.
Children and their families are invited to stop by for hot cider and sweet treats. Carolers from Joel Barlow High School will close our holiday celebration by singing from 2:30 until 3:30 setting the mood to celebrate with our community.

The society invites gatherers to continue over to the Easton Public Library at 4 p.m. to join them as a community to celebrate the holidays with a tree lighting and refreshments. In the season of helping others, please consider bringing a non-perishable or canned item.
